Personal Energy Sphere

The Personal Energy Sphere (Large Dantian) is centred in the chest and extends to arms-length in all directions. It has 3 levels: The Lower Dantian centred on the abdomen, the Middle Dantian centred on the chest and the Upper Dantian centred on the head. Each level has 3 sub-levels, giving 9 energy clouds.

Deep Emotional energy (Qi)

Deep Emotional energy (Qi) is centred in the chest – the sphere of the Middle Dantien, which has 3 levels, extending from the solar-plexus to the base of the throat. Energy rises, during the process of refinement, from the Lower Dantien to fill this sphere.

The Middle Dantian is used to make contact with beings on a similar level to our own. Please note the astral realm should be contacted only with complete Respect.

Spread the Light

Take 3 deep breaths. Each in-breath lift the light from the perineum (Hui Yin) to the solar plexus. Each out-breath the light expands up to fill the sphere of the Middle Dantien, then as the Mind sinks deeper intensify and spread the light out to arms-length in all directions around the body.

Condensing Breath

Continue to breathe deeply. Each in-breath condense the large sphere a few centimetres towards the centre of the chest - listen for pressure in the chest. Each out-breath re-expand the sphere to arms-length, while the Mind sinks deeper and the light intensifies - warmth may increase.

Allow the breathing to become gentler. Each exhalation the Mind sinks deeper and the light becomes stronger. Then forget the breathing. The Mind gently drifts deeper while the light steadily intensifies until the Mind is lost in the light.

Share the Light

Condense the Large Dantian back into the Middle Dantien. Visualise the person you wish to help or make contact with, either where you feel the person is, or out in front of you. From the centre of the chest use a strong clear intention to extend a line of light towards the person. After a few seconds surround them with a cloud of golden light.

Breathe gently. Each exhalation let the Mind sink deeper and intensify the light. Then forget the breathing while concentrating quietly in the light that surrounds the person. You may direct a thought, feeling or question to the person, then listen for a response.

After a time withdraw the connecting light back into the centre of the chest. Re-expand the light to fill the Large Sphere that surrounds the body.

5 Clouds

土 Earth - Centre the Mind in the cloud of golden light in the solar plexus. Each exhale sink the Mind deeper and intensify the light until the body and breath are lost in the light. (You may use a gentle intention to swirl, stir or circle the light at each location.)

金 Metal - Allow the cloud to drift up to cover the lungs where it turns white. Each exhale sink the Mind deeper and intensify the light.

水 Water - The cloud descends to cover the lower abdomen and turns deep blue. Each exhale sink the Mind deeper and intensify the light.

木 Wood - The cloud rises to the right to cover the liver and becomes deep green. Each exhale sink the Mind deeper and intensify the light.

火 Fire - The cloud floats across to surround the heart and turns deep red. Each exhale sink the Mind deeper and intensify the light.

After one or more cycles, return the cloud to the solar plexus and rest in the golden light. Re-expand the light to fill the Large Sphere that surrounds the body.
