Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov

(1900–1986) Originally from Bulgaria, a student of the well respected Peter Dunov, he founded the "White Brotherhood" and taught Western mysticism, based on esoteric Christianity, in Europe from 1960(?) until his death in the mid-1980s.

The Indian sage Nityananada said on meeting him, "A pure heart, peace in his soul, and all power has been given to him."
